Check out our list of upcoming federal, state, and foundation grant opportunities through June 30, 2008. The grants offer funding for programs and projects that follow some of the targeted areas of the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor’s Preservation and Management Plan.

2007 Erie Canalway Pilot Grants Program
The Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor awarded $200,000 in grants in 2007 to assist canal communities across the state. Thirteen communities received funding to cover projects and programs that protect and celebrate the corridor’s distinct sense of place, while boosting heritage tourism and recreational opportunities.
