About the Photo Contest
Since 2006, the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor has hosted an annual photo contest to capture the beauty, history, people, and distinctive character of the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor. Winning images become the basis for our yearly calendar.
Over the years, the contest has helped us showcase the canal corridor and remind people of what makes it a unique place to celebrate and preserve.
A panel of judges selects first, second, and third place photographs in four contest categories: Bridges, Buildings and Locks; On the Water; For the Fun of It; and The Nature of the Canal. In addition, judges select twelve honorable mention images.

Congratulations to all of our contest winners and thank you to everyone who entered!
