The Erie Canalway Heritage Award of Excellence celebrates significant places in the National Heritage Corridor where people have come together to make their part of the Corridor a vibrant place to live, work, or play.  
 
2011 Heritage Award Recipients
Congratulations! The Commission is pleased to recognize the Restored 1842 Nine Mile Creek Aqueduct at the Camillus Erie Canal Park as the recipient of the 2011 Erie Canalway Heritage Award of Excellence. Honorable Mention was awarded to the Verona Beach Lighthouse and the Delta Sonic Heritage Farm at the Buffalo Zoo.
